ALBROMET is a leading supplier of high-end aluminum bronzes, copper alloys and precision mechanical components made of these. We have an extensive warehouse with 12 machines for pre-processing cuttings.
One of our key element is the metallurgical and mechanical product advice. We also offer the development and production of mechanical components on our CNC machining centers. We mainly supply bending tools - as system bending mandrels and wrinkle smoothers in various materials and coatings. Many years of experience in tooling advice is a very essential advantage for our customers. Our core industries are tool making, mold making, forming technology, food technology, plastic engineering and mechanical engineering. Also the packaging technology and food machines are part of it.
ALBROMET is certified according to DIN ISO 9001: 2015, and is proud to have a TOP-JOB award.
Change in the management of ALBROMET GmbH
The previous Managing Director Peter Lang stepped down as both Managing Director and shareholder of the company at the end of 2023. We would like to thank him warmly for his many years of hard work and wish him all the best for the future.
With effect from January 1, 2024, Andrea Bäring was appointed sole Managing Director of Albromet GmbH. All other contacts remain unchanged for you.
We look forward to continuing to support you with selected metals and excellent service in an otherwise unchanged constellation - in line with our long-standing motto "Metal connects".
With this change in the top management of Albromet GmbH, the company is heralding a generational change and rejuvenation process among the shareholders. The former shareholders Peter Lang and Rudolf Fürmetz have handed over their company shares to the now sole shareholder Friedrich Hübner at the end of 2023. He will transfer the company to his son Stefan Hübner during the first quarter of 2024.
This will secure the future-oriented development of Albromet GmbH.

HERRENKNECHT VERTICAL relies on ALBROMET high-end Aluminiumbronze. Excellent sliding properties, high compressive strength, good corrosion resistance and EX-protection guarantees high functionality and service life.

What can aluminum bronzes from ALBROMET be used for?
Out aluminum bronzes are used, among other, in forming technology, mechanical engineering, automotive, plastic technology, as well as in the food, packaging and pharmaceutical industries. They can be used to produce tube bending tools, plain bearings, as well as gripping and clamping elements.
What are the properties of aluminum bronzes?
Our Aluminum bronzes have very good mechanical properties, sliding properties, adhesion properties, thermal conductivity and war properties. They are easy to machine with carbide-coated tools. You can check our machining guidelines.
Are there any aluminum bronzes that are safe for food?
Our material ALBROMET-200 is food graded and can be used in the food industry without any problems. You can download the certificate of compliance free of charge.
In what quality and grade does ALBROMET supply aluminum bronzes?
We have semi-finished products in our program. We supply round material, tubes or flat bars. We can customize cuttings from big blocks also. The materials are available in continuous cast, pressed, drawn, cast or forged quality. More information to download in our product range. Finish parts are also possible. Please also visit our CNC machining.
In which areas are copper alloys used for?
Especially in industrial applications, where high heat or current conductivity is required and additionally high strength. Copper alloys are used, among others, in plastics technology, automotive, welding technology and mechanical engineering.
